- The Philippines are located in the Pacific Ocean. They are surrounded by Japan, China, Malaysia and Indonesia. They are South of Japan, South East of China, West of Malaysia and North of Indonesia.
- What are we going to do because I don't want our home destroyed.
- In 2009 the Philippines were struck by Typhoon Ketsana. This is a house in Manila, Philippines. Before it struck. Here's a Fact! Over 60,000 people were forced to leave their homes!
- Did You Know! That after the flooding,the cost to repair and clean up was estimated to be around $100million dollars. A Paper factory in Marikina city had a 100,000 oil leak due to the rising flood waters.
- That will cost $100 Million!
- Look at this mess, this going to take ages to clean up.
- Oh no the mess is going to affect our economy and tourism for the country. Did you hear that the country has to pay $100 million for the damage.
- Yes we did it! We should go help our neighbour now because there not do cleaning. Its finally getting back to normal.
- Finally we cleaned up our house, it toke us a whole month to finally finish cleaning.
