Storyboard Text

  • Location: The Law offices of Brecker and Hood - Upper East Side of Manhattan The time: Work time. Is there any other time? The day: Pay day. And a bad one for Robyn Hood. (Daughter of co-owner of Breckwoldt and Hood.)
  • I hate this day. It's nothing but a constant reminder that I'm just a "mere woman" who doesn't NEED the amount of money every Tom, Dick, and Harry is paid.
  • Ah, payday. There's nothing quite like it. Right, Alan?
  • You're absolutely right, Harrison. We have it made as men, don't we?
  • Oh, SHUT UP. We know how much you make and WE do not care. Right, Marian?
  • She's right, guys. It is BEYOND old. Go gloat somewhere else.
  • Robyn Hood went back to her desk to pout in peace. "Those guys," she said begrudgingly to herself, "they really have it made, don't they?" This pay gap had gotten old... since like... she started working 4 years ago.
  • Robyn Hood continued to pout to herself. She had earned this right. The pay gap was unfair. She worked just as hard, if not harder, than Alan AND Harrison combined. So she was this CEO's daughter? BIG DEAL. She still had to work for what she earned.
  • I need to find a way out of this. There has to be a solution.
  • Yeah, BYE HOOD. Hope you're in a better mood tomorrow.
  • MARIAN!! I know what we can do to eliminate the pay gap. We can show those guy that we're serious about this!
  • Well, is it legal?! If it's legal I will help you with whatever I can!
  • *rolls eyes* Now, Marian. We are LAWYERS. If it isn't legal... we can find a way to make it at least APPEAR legal.
  • You have a point, Robyn. Let's hear the idea. I'll walk you home.
  • Robyn and Marian spent their entire walk home devising a plan on how they would eliminate this pay gap. The more they talked, the more excited they got. They'd start tomorrow.
  • The next morning, Marian and Robyn left for work with disguises firmly in place. They were both "sick with the flu," so no one was expecting them. No one was expecting anything that would happen today.
  • What the guys at the office didn't know was that they were about to be robbed by Robyn Hood herself. (also Marian. Shoutout to Marian.) The two girls would take enough money from each man to bridge the gap in pay and evenly distribute it to the women in their office. It was going to be a day to remember.
  • The girls arrived at the office and lurked in the background, waiting for the perfect moment to carry out their plan. The guys were still bragging about their checks and how they surpassed the girls' checks by SO MUCH. This only added fuel to Robyn and Marian's fire.
  • The two guys did not recognize their long-time coworkers, Robyn and Marian, and immediately surrendered the appropriate amount of change.
  • Listen, listen!!! I'll give you the change every single month if you promise not to tell my wife. I couldn't function without her!
  • Robyn and Marion distributed the stolen (EARNED) change evenly among their coworkers. There were able to do this every month, thus closing the pay gap between males and females in their work place.
  • Harrison and Alan never caught onto the fact that the "robbing" was being done by their coworkers, Robyn and Marion. We can't say we're surprised though because, I mean, they ARE men.
