- What will I do now? I don't know, but nothing will be impossible.
- I'm going to be just like Slash O'Shea
- RUN!
- Nate needs to get back to camp but he is all alone in enemy territory. He recalls when Slash O'Shea needed to escape and how he disguised himself. Nate decides to disguise himself in the Hessian clothing, and he is able to escape and run back to camp safely.
- So what do you say? Will you join the army?
- YES!
- Nate decides to run away to New York so that he could find a ship to sail on, and make a life for himself on his own.
- This is not a nursery, you need to work hard.
- Yessir
- As soon as Nate gets to New York, he realizes that it wasn't the same New York he had come to before -- instead, it is a warzone, and just as he got to the city, the British started to attack, and he had to run.
- Good work, son
- I am so proud of myself and so happy I have people that care about me.
- As Nate is running away, he hears his name being yelled out. He tries to run, but the person catches him, and Nate realizes it is his old friend Paul. Paul tells Nate how he has joined the American Army, and he convinces Nate to join as well.
- Nate is allowed to stay at the camp, but the captain tells him that this is not a nursery and he will have to pull his own weight, but Nate is ready.
- Nate works really hard at the camp, makes friends with the other soldiers, and finally feels like he has a purpose and that he belongs somewhere. After working hard one day, the Captain tells Nate that he is doing good work. Nate is so proud of himself.
