- The start of his dreams and the beginning of his Personal Legend that will lead him to his treasure. Santiago was a young shepherd and loves to travel with his sheep.
- Climax: Santiago is talking to the wind.
- One evening they meet at the fields and talk for a while. He talked about how Santiago must follow his dreams that will lead him to his treasure but he needs to follow his Personal Legend.
- Falling Action: He found his treasure.
- After he met the Alchemist he learns a lot of things about personal Legends and the Soul of the World. And where he could find his treasure.

- The moment Santiago believes within his heart was the closest to the Soul of the World. He was talking to the wind therefore the sun and the sea. And he knew that he wanted to achieve the Personal Legend within all of his heart.
- This is the end of him finding ang knowing about himself, he achieved his Personal Legend, Find his Soul of the World and most of all the learned a lot to his journey to the treasure. The only thing he wanted to do is to cherish and marry the girl that he loves, Fatima.
