- On July 14, 1789, a thousand individuals surged into a fortification known as Bastille. The fortress's seven captives were quickly liberated. The mob even kidnapped and dismembered the governor's head before marching through the streets.

- On October 4, 1789, a huge group of armed working women marched through the rain to Versailles to demand a higher price for bread to support their families.

- The summery of the Deceleration was that, “men are born and remain free and equal in rights” (Article 1), All citizens were equal before the law (Article 6); no one was to be arrested without a judicial order (Article 7). - King Louis XVI's trial began on December 3, 1792, and Marie Antoinette's trial began on October 14, 1793, and both were found guilty and put to death.
