The story of migration and power struggles Aleksandr Khachatryan
This story is a resilient and power struggle telling story. My grandfather made a very crucial decision during his early stages living in Azerbaijan to move to Armenia in order to supply a better future for his family, years passing a day comes with my father makes the same decision to move his family to America for the prosperity and living the American dream. This is a captivating story of dealing with migration and learning to adapt into a new place but also keeping your roots true to yourself

Connecting this to a concept from Chapter 2, Latinadades, in Chapter 2, refers to "the s"as experiences of subordination, resistance, and agency of the various national groups." Even" though this is specific to the Latin X community, we can still apply this to my personal story because there are shared experiences that had to do with migration and resistance. Just like how my grandfather had to make the decision to move his family during the Soviet Union and also referring to my father taking a trip to Europe in order to gain skills that would only better him in his future and then finally, my family as a whole moving to America. Regarding this quote, I can also tie this to agency dealing with chapter 3 because when I moved here to America, I was able to find a strong family here, and it was through my Armenian soccer club, which was a very strong backbone for me adapting into a new environment. It looks very personal to me to keep my cultural practices true to myself while I was living in the American life. Also, it was a struggle to learn English while keeping my Armenian identity. Similarly to the Latinidades, "power" differences, conflicts, tensions, and affinities," my s"ory aligns with these topics because it has similar topics of navigating political tensions as well as dealing with language barriers and having to build a new world and a new connection while maintaining the original heritage and culture. Another topic that will be pulled from Chapter 3 is personalizing history. In Chapter 3, element 10 states, "every" ay people is an important historical actor." "he is defined through my grandfather because he was just a normal citizen who had to make a very important decision for his family during the rough soviet union times my story was also pulling from element number 10 from chapter 3 where it discusses power dynamics and one of the key would be the power that Soviet Union had over the Armenians and Azerbaijanis, "Just "s medicinal history must restore individuality to anonymous masses of people, it must also restore the social context to individuals singled out as the actors of history."

From Grigory Keshishyan, similar lead to him it was also very important aspect to me to keep my family heritage to me and he defines importance of how valuable it personally is to him and how it shaped to he is today. And this is also very important to me because this is a shared experience and it just shows how strong the Armenian community is.From Abel Khechoomian, similarly to his story he he also moved here to America and his family had to make the important decision in order for him and his family to have a better future and this is similarly to my story because my family had to make that same exact decision and it goes to show that families will always do what is crucial and necessary for their family if it means that they will be provided for and it just shows how families is always first. From Petros Jeiranyan, history shows the struggle of his family moving to America and how rough it was in the beginning and I think it is very important and similarly to mine because it was not easy once the move was made and it was hard to adapt to adapt to live here. This goes to show that even though a family might think they are alone struggling they’re very many similar families also in that same position.
ReflectionThrough this project I understood that someone was individual life stories very important and it ties into both chapter 2 and three and connecting my straight to my class which just shows how important family is and how they will make sacrifices for you no matter the cost.
