- why won't you listen! mya go to your room!
- I was stunned to see my mother getting yelled at so aggressively I didn't know whether to call for help or go to my room like I was asked before things escalated.
- what do I do now?!
- From that day forward I decided to keep my mouth closed so no more harm would come my mothers way, neither me who knew what he was capable of.
- hush mya.
- but-
- On a car ride to see my dad I decided I would finally tell my grandmother about my mom's boyfriend.
- neither of you talk!
- He beats her and threatens me!.....
- I suddenly broke down trying to tell my grandmother those dreadful things thats been happening but I couldn't get but a sentence out.
- My mom went into a mental breakdwon and tried to take her life, shortly after having her first child with him falling pregnant shortly after with another child.Only due to her boyfriend's crazy actions but luckily she didnt. This then led me to having to go with my grandmother for a while.
- momma wake up ....!
- yes ma'am!
- I now have to stay with my paternal grandmother while my mother still lives with that toxic boyfriend of hers. I still wonder till this day will she ever leave him or if thats even a question to ask myself anymore.
