  • The French and Indian war took place in 1754. The fought over the Ohio River Valley. England won the battle against the French. But the problem was that England had to re coop the money they spent, so they taxed the colonists in America. After, England signed a treatie with France.

  • The join or die cartoon was created in 1754 by Benjamin Franklin.The cartoon meant if all colonies do not join the war together they would all die.Soon after a lot of colonist joined the war.

  • The British policy put the Stamp Act which was when England put taxes on government stamps and all paper, the sugar act as when England told the colonists to stop smuggling sugar, the Tea Act was when England made cheaper tea from England but the colonists did not want it, the Townshend Act was when England took away freedoms plus put taxes on paper, paint, lead, glass, and tea.
