- guns are the same as knifes and hammers and axes and other weapons. all are used to kill so what. besides its not the tool that kills its the person.
- but can a person kill a human in seconds from a far distance? gunshot wounds not only cause a extreme amount of damage they are also extremly fast
- ok well back to my question why even have laws at all because terrorists and criminals dont even follow them aanyways
- and now that terrorists use guns, which is way easier to obtain because of the laws on guns, almost 95% of terrorism deaths in 2002-2015 were caused by guns. that amount is excedingly high and should make the Goverment want to fix it, but they dont seem to care to change the system.
- Your right, why even have laws on speeding if people are going to do it either way, speeding doesn't kill people but yet we still enforce strict rules on it. and your comment on the fact that criminals and terrorists don't follow laws is true but they also go around laws very well, like how terrorists now use guns instead of bombs because of the highly strict laws on bomb production now after the Oklahoma city bombing
- In order for our country to fully thrive not just economically but as a society would be to get serious about gun laws. I'm not saying that we need to get rid of guns completely and yes, guns sometimes are needed in extreme cases. Guns just shouldn't be handed out so leniently and the US should create a stricter and more complex gun policy so guns don't get in the wrong hands. guns have been around for a long time and are even in our amendments but when they said the "right to bear arms." their guns back in the day took forever to shoot and were not as detrimental and fast as todays guns that anyone can buy at a gun store. Guns kill at the end of the day and the story's we hear everyday on the news show that, yet we are so used to the tragedy's they don't even seem shocking anymore as it happens all the time now.
