Storyboard Description
Officer Buzz Borel was directing traffic in front of the plant as the men were leaving for lunch. At the same time Connie was driving her friends (in bikinis) back from swimming at the quarry. Buzz was motioning with both left and right hands for them to proceed, but Connie was confused. She didn't know whether he wanted her to go to his left or to his right, so her logic told her to go straight, plastering Buzz on her hood and into her windshield. As he rolled off the car, grabbing his hat, he whistled for them to get out of the car. Of course, the men from the plant began whistling as well, for obvious other reasons. Buzz immediately ordered them back into the car......No charges were filed.
Storyboard Text
- HIgh School junior girls returning from swimming at the Quarry
- Policeman Bart Blackman is directing traffic in front of plant as lunch whistle is blowing
- Bart is motioning with both hands to have traffic continue around him. But Connie doesn't know what that means, so in her indecision as to whether to go right or left she goes straight, plastering Bart on her hood and windshield.
- Luckily, Bart is unhurt and as he rolls off the hood, hat falling down over his eyes, he blows his whistle and orders the girls out of the car.
- The girls oblige, bikinis and all, and exit the car.
- New whistles are heard, but this time it's the factory workers who witnessed the whole scene.
- Bart orders the girls back in the car and they drive off with no charges being filed.
- Meanwhile, the factory workers realize they missed their lunch, but don't seem too distressed after the show they just witnessed.
