  • Don't follow it sir
  • What if he tempts you to jump into the sea, sir?

  • This scene is from Act 1 Scene 4 where hamlet is trying to talk to the gost, but instead of talking to Hamlet, the gost is pointing to follow it. Marcellus and Horatio are trying to stop him from following the gost, thinking it my be a trick and its trying to kill him. Hamlets says its his destiny to follow it. They try to hold him back, but Hamlet drew his sword at them to let him go he will make a gost out of them.
  • This is the scene when Hamlet followed the gost. The gost finally spoke and told him the reason he was there.He said he is the gost of his father and that he wasnt killed the way they told Denmark ( everyone thinks the King was killed by a poisonous snake). In fact he was killed by his own brother. He poured poison in his ear while he was sleeping, and seduced his wife to marry him ( which they did 1 month after the king death). Now the gost is telling him
  • The act ends with Hamlet going back to Horatio and Marcellus and telling them to swear they wont speak on anything they saw they saw that night
