- Alice Paul was a major leader in women's suffrage. She protested for women's suffrage and even after she was arrested she continued to advocate for women.

- 19th Amendment
- In 1920, the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote, was passed in the Senate and was given to the states to vote. It made women's suffrage a part of the Constitution.
- Constitutional Amendment Is Passed, 56 to 25.
- Susan B. Anthony was arrested for illegally voting in the 1972 election. She was a major leader in women's suffrage and was a part of the National Women Suffrage Association.

- Women's suffrage was supported because they obey laws, laws affect women, laws should include men and women's views, objections to women's suffrage is based on prejudice.

- People were against women's suffrage because they believed women did not want to vote, it would mess up what was already good, and women's husbands could vote for the household.
