  • Hi, Jack! So yes, you do have good enough grades to be able to attend UCLA. Congratulations.

  • Erikson's fourth stage of psychological development portrays a time where a child between the age 6-12 is either happy from successful fulfillment and foresees recognition. If children are not accepted or feel like the can't meet expectations, they could develop a sense of inferiority and lack of self worth. For example, here Jack showing happiness from a successful achievement, which is 100 on the math test. He is also happy because he met the expectations his dad put on him.
  • Erikson's fifth stage of psychological development portrays a time where adolescent's from ages 12-20 are wanting to be independent and create their own future and find their identity. They could get their role confused, which could cause mood swings and wanting to rebel by trying to find out who they really are. For example, here Jack is trying to start and create his own future by being able to attend UCLA which leads him to also being more independent because he'll be able to move out of his parents house.
  • Erikson's sixth stage of psychological development portrays a time where young adults from their 20s-30s are wanting a real/true relationship with a feeling of certainly. Basically, they are wanting to find love and not be alone in their life. They don't want to lack intimacy an be alone. For example, here Jack is asking out a girl on a date, seeking for intimacy and wanting to develop a real relationship and be able to be together and eventually become a family.
