- The Punishment of the Meraglim (and what happened to Kalev and Yehoshua)
- I (Hashem) will punish the Meraglim for speaking badly about My land, Eretz Yisrael. The Meraglim will die by "the" plague. Their tongues will extend until their bellybottons (Middah Keneged Midda because they used their tongues to sin / speak Lashon Harah about Eretz Yisrael) (They added in their own opinion of the Bnai Yisrael "having zero chance" of going into Eretz Yisrael), and bugs/worms will come out of their tongues and go into their bellybottons and kill them. But Kalev and Yehoshuah will be the only ones to live from the Meraglim. They will be able to go into Eretz Yisrael, and they will get the Meraglim's portion there (Kalev also got Chevron). (they also both get a spiritual reward for doing what Hashem wanted).
