- There was once a happy man named Job who had anything you could ever want. He had a family, money, and a roof over his head
- But then the Satan thought Job was only worshipping God because God rewards him, so he asked God for permission to punish Job.
- Very well, you may punish him. Just do not kill him.
- He only worships you because you reward him. Take everything good away from him and he will no longer praise you.
- The Satan punished Job and took everything he cared for away from him, yet he still continued to worship God.
- God, I do not know why you are treating me this way. But I still love you.
- Job's friends visited him and told him the only way God would be treating him the way he is is if he did something extremely bad, but Job couldn't figure out what it was.
- You must've done something horrible for God to be punishing you this badly, Job.
- ???????
- Job got sick of his punishment and demanded for God to come to Job in person to explain why he's punishing him.
- Pleaes, God, I need to know why you are punishing me. I demand you meet me in person and explain!
- So God came in the form of a thunder storm and took Job on a tour of the universe. He showed Job how detailed it is, and that he knows ever single detail intimately. This made Job realize how wise God is.
