- (Smiles slightly) Um, sure. Classical maybe?
- Okay Phumelela, this is the cool room where we'll do your special treatment today! See that big machine over there? It's our superhero spaceship that helps fight off those tiny bad cells inside you. Don't worry, it uses gentle x-rays, kind of like a picture, to help you feel better. We'll put you on a comfy bed just like a superhero, and the most important part is staying still so the spaceship can take the best picture possible. It might feel a little weird, but we'll be right here with you the whole time, telling stories or singing songs! Once the picture is done, you can be a regular superhero again, and we might even have a cool sticker for you! Are you ready for your spaceship adventure?
- Absolutely! We can put on some calming tunes if you'd like.
- Okay Phumelela, all done! You did great. Now, you'll be waiting for the doctor to go over your medication you will be needing for now. Your doctor will explain everything, and we'll be here for you every step of the way.
- Maybe. Can my family come with me?
- Of Course!
- We love you Phumelela, you were so brave today!

- Hi there Phumelela! How are you feeling after your first treatment today? I know it can be a lot to take in, but you did amazing! Radiation therapy takes a lot of courage, and you were so brave throughout the whole session. We'll see you again in a few days for your next session.
