well sweety, conduction is when heat or electricity is directly transmitted through a substance when there is a difference of temperature or of electrical potential between adjoining regions, without any material movement/moving.
ok but then what is convection?
sweety, convection is when movement caused inside a fluid by the tendency of hotter and less dense material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which funily results in transfer of heat.
well sweety, radiation is the process where heat waves are emitted that may be absorbed, reflected, or transmitted through a colder body.
ok mom i have one more question...what is radiation
so basically, Conduction transfers heat by direct contact, Convection is how heat passes through fluids and air in circular motions, and Radiation is how heat moves when there are molecules or heat that moves in waves. Right?
Uh... Thanks for being proud of me mom but...
yep that's it! Good job remembering that?
Don't get me wrong I love that you told me but ...I am Definitely NOT going to remember this
Hahaha
hahaha well at least your honest haha
