- DAIRY QUEEN
- *Gag* What Johnny!? Ugh. You are as unfathomable as algebra. Nah Johnny you can't. You just can't turn yourself in.
- *Munch,munch*
- We're goin back and turnin ourselves in.
- Would you rather have me hiding and running the rest of my life?
- ON THE ROAD
- Johnny, I ain't mad at you. Jail hardens you. I don't want it to happen to you like it happened to me.
- VRROOMM
- CHURCH FIRE
- Cckckc-POP! sksk
- Dally: Oh glory!Pony:Let's go see what happened.Dally: What! No!
- Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy are quickly and hastily eating at a Dairy Queen. Johnny says how he is going to turn himself into the fuzz, but Dally doesn't want that to happen.
- Pony and Johnny run up to man, Jerry, and ask him what happened, when all of a sudden, a woman comes to report a few children have gone missing. Then, they hear screams from the church, so Pony and Johnny run up into it to save the kids.
- CkkCK-POP-Crackle
- After eating, they all hop in in Dally's car, as the engine sputtered to life. Dally tries to convince Johnny not to turn himself in. Pony was surprised because he has never seen Dally like this. He was acting very different all of a sudden, caring about other people, and talking about his past. Ponyboy got very incredulous. He always thought that Dally only cared about himself and was cold and hard.
- AMBULANCE
- EEEWWOOO
- While driving, Dally spots that the old church has caught on fire. He stops the car, and Pony and Johnny defiantly hop out while Dally tries to stop them. The fire was so bright, even in the daytime, it looked like it illuminated the area, and even at a distance, you could hear it crackling. Hurriedly and quickly, Pony and Johnny go to see what happened.
- HOSPITAL
- Ponyboy, I was scared to death. I couldn't stand if anything happened to you.
- They eventually got them all out, but now they were in trouble. By then, Dally had been standing outside the church. Johnny pushed Pony out gallantly, but then Dally had to forcefully knock him out to keep him from going after Johnny.

- J: Where are the kids?!P: In the back I guess.
- AAAAAHHHHH!!!
- When Pony wakes up, he hears loud sirens, and he nervously thought the fuzz had found them. But really, he was in an ambulance with Jerry. Pony tells him his story about how Johnny had murdered someone, and Jerry was as cool as a cucumber about it. Jerry tells Ponyboy that they are heading to a hospital in Pony's town.
- No sir. Believe it or not, Dally has a criminal record a mile long, Johnny is a murderer, and we are all Greasers, you know hoods.
- Wow, you kids really are heroes. Were you sent from heaven?
- When they arrive at the hospital, Pony and Jerry are in the waiting room, waiting to hear how Dally and Johnny were. Dally seemed ok, but Johnny was unconscious. Pony started to smoke a cigarette , when Darry and Sodapop walk in the room. Pony and Soda were very glad to see each other, but Darry stood there with a helpless look on his face . Just then, Darry then gets very emotional, and Pony runs to him and hugs the daylights out of him. This was not normal for Darry because he was aloof, and almost never cried, even at their parents' funeral.
