- Malcolm X organizedtemples for the Nation of Islam.
- He started creating these temples in the 1950s, and continued through the early 1960s until his house was firebombed in 1965.
- Malcolm X gave a speech on Lenox Avenue in Harlem, New York City, which is also the location of one of his temples.
- Malcolm gave speeches for everyone to have equal rights specifically African Americans.
- I chose Malcolm because i didn't know anything about him, and I wanted to learn about someone new.
- His father Earl Little may have been killed by supremacists.
- Malcolm X was sent to jail for 8-10 years for gambling, selling drugs, and burglary when he was 20. After 6 and a half years he was released because of good behavior and here he found his life calling.
