Storyboard Text

  • My goal is to get all my work done in school.
  • My goal is to stop asking so many questions.
  • My goal is to not run in the school yard.
  • I don’t finish all my work in school so I have to finish it for homework. I don’t get it done because I waste time and keep checking and going back. I keep checking it to make sure I did it all or to see if the answer is right. My parents think it’s crazy, but I will try to fix it. It’s been going on since last year or more.
  • My goal is to remember to bring the right books home.
  • Again I keep worrying that I didn’t understand the teacher so I keep asking her/him over and over again. I know it’s annoying because most times she/he already explained it, but I want to make sure I know what to do. It;’s a hard habit to stop, but I’m really trying to fix it. I hope that in a few weeks, it will become less and less. I’m sure my teachers will love that!
  • My goal is learning to take no for an answer.

  • My goal is to not be so noisy.
  • There are times that I don’t bring all the books I need home. When I’m at home and sit down to do my homework, I get the books I need from my backpack. I see that I am missing one of the books. I get so mad because now will have an incomplete assignment. The next day I have to not only do my new homework but my homework from the night before.
  • When my mom tells me I can’t do something I want to do, I always ask why. My mom's answer is “because I said so”. That should be good enough for me, but I always want to know the reason. Not only that, but I try to negotiate, but that doesn’t work. You think I learn by now, but I’ll still try this new year to just accept “no”.
  • Whenever my parents are talking I always want to knowWhat they are talking about. They say “If I wanted you to know I would tell you.”. I always getAnnoyed, because that's the same answer my grandma and my brother say to me. I have to learn to mind my one business.
