- By the way, this school year, our school has organised a sporting event called “Sports League Event: Aim for Win, bring the throphy home”. Everyone is welcome to join this event, including students with disabilities and disorders.
- What sports are in there?
- Targeted sports were volleyball, basketball, swimming, and track and field. Over the course of the academic year, two full-day tournaments are planned for each sport. These activities are always organised in a partner school that has the necessary facilities to accommodate each participant.
- According to Miss Flora, there are three main forms of down syndrome, the most frequent of which is trisomy 21, followed by translocated-Down Syndrome, which occurs when an additional chromosome 21 is present but is not a separate chromosome 21 but rather is trans-located or joined to another chromosome. Children who have Mosaic Down syndrome have two or three copies of chromosome 21 in part of their cells, respectively.
- The reason why we have the sports event is to promote the idea of students with disorders and disabilities. Should be treated normally and fairly.
