- Have you recently been looking for a book to suit all of your needs? I know I have, that is why I got The Hate U Give! This book has everything in a book you would ever want! This book is about a fascinating young girl Starr Cater who has a tragic event happen her where her best friend Khalil got shot by an officer for no reason. Now Starr is trying to get revenge for Khalil in court, will it work out or will she fail to avenge her dead best friend?

- This is an incredibly fascinating book that takes a horrible issue that we see happen in the world and puts a slight twist on it. Instead of the book being about the person who gets hurt/killed due to racism it is his childhood best friend Starr Carter who is the protagonist of the book. We follow her story as she finds out how truly corrupt the world is. Will she be able to get past all of the corruption in the government system and get revenge? Or will she end up like her best friend? I personally recommend this book because of the amazing show of racism that many people in the world have to deal with.

- “Sometimes you can do everything right and things will still go wrong. The key is to never stop doing right.” is an incredible quote from the book The Hate U Give made by Angie Thomas. This quote explains how you could do everything perfectly and there are still things that go wrong.
