May 29, 2018. Marc Fosterman kills 11 year old Alicia Tootbaum in Texas after abducting her 3 days earlier in Oklahoma
Plea and District Court
Mrs. Susan Tootbaum, the plaintiff, files a formal complaint against her daughter's math tutor, Marc Fosterman (the defendant) for the abduction and murder of Alicia Tootbaum. The Defendant is summoned to court.
Verdict and Appeal
Marc Fosterman is found GUILTY
Marc Fosterman appears in court. Both parties exercised their right to an attorney, and search for evidence, either to incriminate or prove innocent.
The Defendant's opening plea states that he is not guilty of the abduction and murder of Alicia Tootbaum. The Defendant claims to have gone out with a friend. However, the Plaintiff shatters his airtight alibi with the presentation of her latest evidence - the murder weapon, Marc and Alicia's DNA all over it.
The Judge's verdict finds Marc Fosterman guilty. Marc could appeal and have another judge and jury look at the case, but since the evidence against him is so obvious, it's not worth anyone's time.
