- Academic Dishonesty StoryboardScenario: Your ILA teacher assigns your class 10 questions to answer individually before class tomorrow. Luke and Gabi decided to each do 5 questions and then swap answers that evening after they finish.
- Alright guys, before class tomorrow you guys must have these ten questions done.
- Do you want to share answers on the questions tonight? Yeah, let's do it.
- Hey, I got the answers for questions 1-5.
- Oh no!
- Nice job, I am almost done too. I hope we don't get caught cheating.
- Umm, I don't know how to say this, but Will is over at my house, and he heard our conversation.
- Luke, Gabi, I heard from Will that you guys shared answers on the practice questions. You guys are in big trouble, both of you go down to the office now.
- QuestionsI would consider this cheating. This is because their ILA teacher said to work on the problems individually. In my scenario, Luke and Gabi are cheating. They cheated by sharing answers on problems, although this would have been okay if it was assigned as partner work. In this situation I would have gotten input from the teacher on if we could work together first. I also would not have had my friend at my house anyway because I would want it to be quiet, so that we could work.
