"Isabella mom will be ok"
It was a sunny day Nerissa was a 29 year old girl. She was a beautiful, caring, brave, and thoughtful girl. Then one day her mother got sick. Her little sister Isabella was worried about her. Then Nerissa told Isabella something to make her feel better. Then Isabella felt much better.
"Ok sis thank you"
"No we still have a long way to go"
A few hours later they set off to California. After a few days they stopped to let there oxen rest. The next day they ate some fruit and gave some hay to there oxen. A few hours past and then Isabella said “sis are we almost there yet” Nerissa said “not yet we still have a long way to go". 2 months past and they stopped to take a break they slept and they gave there oxen the last of the hay and they ate the last of the fruits.

Finally, they got to California and they took 2 days to rest and let there oxen to rest to. They had some money left over and they bought some pans and Nerissa and Isabella went to the river to find gold. After a few weeks they found 6 pieces of gold and that is worth $200,000 and they bought the medicine for there mother and she said " proud of you both" and Nerissa and Isabella smiled.
