One day Batara Guru got very angry with his daughter. He would not control his mad. He shouted angrily and revealed the secret to his daughters.

Tearfully, the daughters sought solace from their mother, exposing the broken promise.

The earth quivered, volcanoes erupted, and a colossal hole formed, birthing what we now know as Lake Toba.
