- The hero is just a normal student who one day gets an attack on his city by a monster. The hero finds a weapon the monster dropped and along with his friend they follow it. They find a portal where they overhear the monsters talking about killing everyone on earth.
- The innermost trail
- They cross over into the other world and find that not all the monsters are bad. The monsters live under a dictatorship where they are unhappy. The hero realizes that by defeating the head monster and his army, she can help both worlds.
- The Return
- The monsters help the hero and her friend train to fight the head monster. They make them undergo certain tasks that help them enhance their physical skills. The monsters then reward the hero and her friend with the gift of fire they had secretly stolen.
- The hero and her friend enter the tower and are ambushed and they fight the tough battle with the training they have received. They defeat the army and face the head monster, who fatally wounds the hero's friend. The hero uses her firepower as the monster uses his ice powers. They fight a close battle, but eventually, the hero wins.
- The hero returns from the tower carrying his friend and the monsters use their magic abilities to heal them. They leave one horn for the monsters and take one to symbolize peace. In his world, he is seen as a hero when he returns with the horn. They award him and he learns to make every moment count, since things can be taken in a second. He studies hard at his high school now.
