Bosnia’s governor wanted Archduke Franz Ferdinand to inspect Bosnia's military maneuvers. Then people in Serbia found that Archduke Franz Ferdinand was a threat to serbian independence because he favored certain reforms that could have ended in the Slavic kingdom being a part of the Austro-hungarian empire. Afterwards the Black hand found out. Then June 28, 1914 the black hands plot became in action. At first they didn’t succeed in assassinating him so they tried again after they weren’t successful they tried again and succeeded unfortunately. After this assassination Austria Hungary declared war on serbia.

Effects
First there was a Newspaper written about Archduke Franz Ferdinand coming to Bosnia and a student found a newspaper cut out about it. After Serbia found out about this they thought it could lead to the nation becoming weaker. Then the Black hand found out and started plotting Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination. That day June 28, 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand was close to being assassinated but they did not succeed. Then on June 28, 1914 on the 2nd attempt they were successful in assassinating Archduke Franz Ferdinand. All of this then started WW1 because of all the alliances started between the countries.
