The USA gives veterans health benefits such as inpatient and outpatient care at a VA medical facilities, prescription drug from VA providers, long term, care depending on needs and other factors and will provide you free health care for conditions that are caused or worsened during your service you can also get disability compensation

The education benefits the VA provides you also may help qualified family members as well as well as the needs such as paying college tuition, finding the right school or training program, getting career counseling and the payments you receive for education, training or substance under any law administered by the VA are tax free

There’s support and benefits for many things but many say that there isn’t enough support to help veterans transition from military life to civilian life and many veterans have a hard time readjusting into society after deployment due to military skill that are not transferable to civilian life
There are many programs and small groups that help and support veterans, One program is called TAP which stands for the transition assistance and is one of many that help veterans along their journey and yes sadly people have a hard time adjusting back into the community but that’s why we have them go do rehabilitation, vocational, physical, social rehabilitation, mental rehabilitation care to help them cope and help them along their journey to civilization
