- As the bees attempted to escape, they are only beginning the struggle of finding a new home.
- The bees must travel many kilometres to reach a safe habitat. Only then can they be safe from the fires temporarily, until another one arrives.
- The fire burned down the hives and the bees had to fight to survive.
- If we didn't have these plants, it would cause a knock on effect all the way up the food chain.
- Bees play a very important role in the environment. Without them, we wouldn't have the plants that they pollinate.
- To help, you can make a bee box so that bees can have somewhere to live.
- There are many different ways to help preserve bees' environment and save their habitats.
- You can also help by planting bee-friendly flowers in your yard, and letting your garden get a little bit messy.
- This will encourage bees to come and pollinate your flowers, therefore helping the cycle.
