- Hey Jake, do you want to come to my party, my parents are away and all our friends will be there?
- Sweet!
- Uhm, sure I'll come.
- I wonder if my parents will be okay with Zac's parents not being there?
- Hey Jake you made it.
- There sure are, just take a left to the kitchen.
- Hi Zac, nice to see you. Are there any drinks?
- Hey I got this from my house
- Oh no, this is bad.
- Hey guys look at what I have. Lets have some!
- I heard that it can be really bad for us at this age.
- Maybe I could just have a small sip.
- It's fine guys, my parents do it all the time, It can't be that bad.
- Um, I don't think we should do this. Maybe just pour it out.
- oh wow, I really don't want to be here anymore.
- C'mon don't be a wussy, just have a sip.
- Uhm, I'm just going to get a drink.
- I don't really want to do this either, but I don't want to look uncool.
- Mum, I'm at the party right now and someone brought some alcohol and is asking us to drink it. I feel really uncomfortable, can you pick me up please?
- Okay darling, stay there and I'll come and pick you up right now.
- Hi, I'm Jake's mum. He told me that there is some alcohol here. Now I won't tell the police, but I will have to tell your parents. I will ask you to pour it out and don't bring it to any parties again because it is illegal.
- Yes ma'am, we are very sorry.
- Oh no, I'm in trouble!
- Maybe I shouldn't have brought the alcohol in the first place.
- Now I realise what I have done and the consequences are going to be bad. My parents are going to get me into lots of trouble.
- As you can see, under age drinking is illegal and makes other people feel uncomfortable. So a way to minimise this risk is to not do it in the first place.
