- The Black Death came to Messina, Sicily from a ship for trade from Asia. This was a common way that this sickness spread due to the fact that trade routes were very important during this time. Here is a man who is feeling very off and thinks he might have a sickness but doesn't think much of it. Its important to remember that he now has been exposed to the fleas and they could now travel anywhere and go with what they are trading.
- THis is a ship that carried the bubonic plague .
- During the black plague, hundreds of pep[le quickly found they were now sick. This included weakness, chills, etc. Not everyone at this time believed that the cause was only a flea and in fact due to a lack of medical knowledge people were discriminated against if they were a part of a religion that would be blamed for the virus. During this time it took about 150 years for the population to recover.

- During the black death discrimination towards the Jewish people resulted in many of the Jewish members being burned. People without understanding. People had believed that this was caused by the Jewish poisoning the Christians. This was because of there religion and rituals they went through there was n0 logic used.
