- This affects the plant life and animals as many organisms heavily depend on sunlight. The Sun provides energy for all living things. Plants uses photosynthesis to make their own energy from sunlight, and animals get their energy by eating plants or other animals. The little sunlight resulted in a slow drop of temperature. This process is called Impact Winter. Over the course of time, the climate would have become warmer due to increased levels of greenhouse gasses.

- Wow I do not want to live at that time anymore. Climate Change can really mess everything up!
- That's exactly what's happening to Earth today! Instead of asteroids or volcanism causing changes to the climate, it is our actions. Industrialization, burning fuels, transportation are all emitting greenhouse gas to the atmosphere. Not to mention the amount of deforestation and pollution humans are causing, we are slowly damaging our planet and causing another global catastrophe.

- According to Times Magazine, last year in 2023 had the highest record for temperatures which caused heat waves, floods, and wildfires around the globe. In just the United States alone, the damages of the climate disasters are estimated to be around 28 billion dollars.Since 1850, Earth's temperature has been rising at an average rate of 0.06°C per decade, However, since 1982, the rate of warming has accelerated to 20°C per decade. In 2023, global temperatures reached the highest recorded levels since 1850.
- So what will happen if we don't do something about global warming? I hope its not like the Cretaceous Paleogene Extinction.
