- There was no way Montresor is a part of such a prestigious group. He couldn't possibly belong to a belong to a brotherhood like that.

- There's a lot of skeletons here. Should I go back? ... No! The Amontillado is waiting for me!
- The Amontillado is right through there. I should probably tell Luchesi-
- No need for Luchesi! He is an ignoramus. He couldn't tell Amontillado from sherry!
- As we walked deeper into the catacombs, I saw a pile of bones covering the wall. I thought it was quite strange, but I was too determined to get to the Amontillado. I will be the first to taste, not Luchesi or Montresor. They are no real expert like me.

- Yes, The Amontillado
- Montresor tricked me! He led me into this dungeon so that he could chain me up and kill me. I cannot believe it took me this long to realize this. The jokes, the wine, the trowel- it's all makes sense. I was too blind by my pride to see.
