- The plague was a scary time, many people lost their lives and loved ones. the plague was a disease that was carried by fleas on rats and other rodents that were led to humans which is how the plague started. The plague was easy to spread, if you were just by an infected person you would get infected if you didn't have any protection on.

- Shopkeepers would shut down to avoid getting the plague and keeping others safe as well.

- Boil-Lancing is when doctors cut open the boils which are commonly on the face, armpit and anywhere on your body and when doctors cut it open it lets the puss and diseases inside drain. Bloodletting is taking samples from the infected person and trying to take out the infected blood
- The black plague doctors wore full black costumes from head to toe and wore a black beaked mask to prevent any disease reaching the doctors.

- i'm gonna start bloodletting to try to get all the infected blood and start boil lancing
- people with the plague would have headaches or aching and when they did they were told to take a bath in sweet smelling herbs like rose, lavender and sage. Vinegar was used to clean swollen spots and it was believed to be said would kill off the disease. Herbs helped a lot during the plague. The number of deaths is between 75 and 200 million during the plague in Europe. Only 10% of people lived past the age of 70 in Europe.
