- Well Yuven, the main cause for this is deforestation and urbanization which mostly destroys the environment around it. Trees get cut down which increases pollution global warming etc.in other words if we continue earth could become uninhabitable
- WOW! There is so much greenery at our grandparents ranch, right brother Chitraksh? I wonder why Hyderabad is so dull and grey and why it doesn't have a any greenery? Can our city also be green like our grandparents ranch?
- The simple answer is sustainable development. It is a type of development where resources are mostly recycled and are rarely extracted from the earth which conserves them for the future generations.
- Oh my gosh! earth will become uninhabitable?what can we do to avoid such a crisis? can we avoid this crisis without causing major change to our current life style?
- Yes, we can do that by following the 4 R's and reducing consumption of various things like food, water electricity. One main thing that all sustainable communities have is a closed loop economy which uses waste products of one industry as raw materials of another industry
- So, your tell telling that we should have a sustainable life style? what should we do to achieve a sustainable lifestyle?
- Not only that but helps in environmental conservation and reduces pollution as the waste produced is reduced. As forests are no longer cut, the extinction of many endangered species is prevented thus helping to maintain balance. But it is also beneficial for us humans as more jobs are created helping to reduce proverty.
- WOW! I never knew that sustainability has so many benefits not only for use but also for the environment.
- Of course there are some disadvantages like to start a full sustainable economy a lot of funding is required which some governments hesitate to spend money on and greedy people are a problem as they dont care about the benefit of other but the benefit of them self's.
- But just like everything in the world wont there be any disadvantages?
- That's a good idea together we can make our community or even the world follow sustainable practices
- Now I will tell all my friends about the new information I got and tell them to be sustainable too!
