- On Jan.1863, I said all enslaved people in States in rebellion (a.k.a The Confederate states) "Shall be then, forward and Forever Free."

- This was a speech given by our famous president Lincoln. This is where the Battle of Gettysburg was fought in July of 1863. This battlefield was dedicated as a cemetery in November of 1863.
