Hello. My name is Charles Darwin. I just graduated and am going to take a gap year and travel to the Amazon Rainforest to circumnavigate the planet!
As I navigated the rainforest, a central belief was contradicted. I thought to myself: why did an all loving God create vicious creatures?
When in the Galapagos Islands, a second belief was contradicted. I noticed how the tortoises on each of the islands were slightly different. Was it possible that over long periods of time animals and plants could possibly evolve?
When I visited Australia, a third belief was contradicted. It appeared as if Mother Nature was in decline. Shortly after, I predicted extinctions. Sure enough today, Australia has the worst rate of mammal extinction out of any country in the world!
We are currently living in a mass extinction of species. If we do not stop this destruction by the end of the century, as much as 50% of the species we are familiar with today will sadly become extinct.
The greatest reason for land species declining is due to habitat destruction by the livestock industry. The greatest reason for marine species decline is due to the fishing industry.
In 1859, I had unfinished business to attend to; the origin of humans was published. During this time period, shockwaves ripped through the intellectual world and I was named the most dangerous man in Britain!
I wrote a total of 21 books throughout my lifetime and was a loving husband and father.
