Autumn trees fluttered as Luka walked to his new school with his mother, there was a cool wind during that morning.
Luka felt nervous and scared when he saw all the kids walking up to the school’s entrance. He was wearing his Spider Man watch because it was his lucky charm, he always had it on. “Bye honey and take care!” Luka’s mother said with a smile. His mother hugged him goodbye and left him.
He sat down to his table and looked at the other kids that are in the colorful class, they were all talking to each other happily. He was too shy to speak to anyone.
What did you have for breakfast?
One of his classmates suddenly came up to him and said, “Hi! my name is Nick, what’s your name?” Nick said with a wide smile. Luka noticed Nick’s brown eyes, and they were as brown as mother earth, warm, protective and welcoming.
Nice to meet you!
Luka tried to speak but stuttered when he talked while looking down. He was scared to look at him. Nick noticed his watch and jumped excitedly saying “That’s my favourite superhero, I love Spider Man!” Luka smiled at him widely, no one has ever noticed his favourite watch.
