Mrs. Parker plays peekaboo with her baby, who enjoys the game and tries to communicate. This typically begins around 0-6 months of age. As Mrs. Parker interacts, the baby learns to do the same and communicates more.

The Parkers are spending quality time with their baby boy, Jaxson, outside. Jaxson is becoming more aware of his surroundings and sounds. At this stage, babies imitate and mimic what they hear and see around them. Baby Jaxson repeats what his mama says and receives praise from his father.

Jaxon and his mother spend time in the backyard with their family dog. Mrs. Parker asks Jaxson where the dog is, and Jaxson responds by pointing to the dog. At this stage, Jaxson can understand simple instructions and say a single word.

Jaxson and his father sing nursery rhymes together as he prepares for bedtime. Jaxson understands the concept of songs and rhythms and sings along with others. At this stage, toddlers understand the song concept and relate objects to words.

Mama Dinesore
Jaxson and his mother are at the museum, and he sees a dinosaur. He points and tells his mama what he sees. Although he didn't pronounce it correctly, he is relatively close to the word. This is the two-word stage, where children will start combining words from their vocabulary. This will help their verbal and cognitive skills grow.

Jaxson and a friend are playing with toys during playtime, and she takes his toy away. Jaxson is upset and expresses that he had the toy first. During this stage, children become more aware of their emotions and start to piece together multi-word sentences. Children also react on impulse and are very territorial over objects.

Mama, I poop in the big boy potty
Jaxson uses the potty for the first time and is excited to share the big news with his mom. He uses complete sentences and speaks clearly. At this stage, toddlers can speak clearly without repeating words or making mistakes. They can also explain the behaviors that they are doing and speak more fluently.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! AND MANY MOREEEEE!
What does many more mean?
Jaxson celebrates a birthday with his family and friends. They sing Happy Birthday and wish him many more. Jaxson doesn't understand that saying and asks what it means. At this stage, children can understand adults and peers, and can also use well-formed sentences.
