- Sir, what are resources? Can you stay back and explain
- Sure. A resource is anything that can be used to satisfy the need of a human. There are many types of it!
- I will tell you about Natural resources.
- There are 3 types of resources. Natural, Human-Made and Human resources
- Natural resources are resources which are obtained from nature without further modification of it. Example: natural water sources like lakes, the air we breathe and other gifts from nature.
- Oh ok sir. There were two types of natural sources right? Which ones were they.
- Yes there are two types of natural resources - RENEWABLE, NON-RENEWABLE.
- RENEWABLE RESOURCES A renewable resource is one that can be used repeatedly and does not run out because it is naturally replaced. A renewable resource, essentially, has an endless supply such as solar energy, wind energy. It gets replenished very easily and fast!
- NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCESA non-renewable resource (also called a finite resource) is a natural resource that cannot be readily replaced by natural means at a quick enough pace to keep up with consumption.
