- Oh no Curt
- I'm getting nervous something not right about this dentist.
- Curt lemon and Rat kiley were playing catch with smoke grenades.Then Curt dies by stepping on of the grenades.
- Dad have you ever killed anybody?
- In this chapter the dentist Curt Lemon Is getting tense and heś playing with his dog tags.Because he doesn't really want to see the dentist.
- I didn't mean to throw that grenade.
- Oh no!
- Curt lemon doesn't want to see the dentist but he goes back in the tent to show that he is not a coward.He passes out then the dentist looks at his teeth.He said there was nothing wrong with his teeth.
- In the chapter Ambush Tim O'brien daughter kathleen asked if he had killed anyone because she knew he has been a soldier and she knows that he fights in war.
- Tim o'brien was on the path a he past a man on the trail and accidently threw a grenade at his feet and killed him.But he didn't mean to throw the grenade at the man.
- It was still dark and foggy outside Kiowa wakes up Tim for the night watch.They had about 3 grenades lined up already for throwing.They carried there weapons in one hand.They wore black clothing and snadals.
