  • Before Buddha was born his mother (Queen Mahamaya) had a dream that a white elephant entered her womb from the side.
  • When the Queen was about ready to give birth, Siddhartha stepped from her side painlessly. He took seven steps right away. Lotus flowers bloomed all over him as he walked. astroligers said that he would be a great king or religious leader.
  • The elephant was said to have six tusks.
  • Siddhartha Gautama lived a luxurious lifestyle. Thanks to his father, the king, Siddhartha's guards kept a close eye on him
  • I wish to see more than what I see right now, I shall go out by myself and see everything for my own.
  • Whenever Siddhartha would go out on chariot rides his guards would go in front of him to clear the path of the sick and poor
  • Siddhartha is supposed to have encountered four signs in his late twenties that changed his life forever. An old guy, a sick man, a corpse, and a monk were among the indicators.

  • He was moved by his meeting with the sorrows and grief, and he set out to find the road of enlightenment.

  • Siddhartha chose to join a society of ascetics who taught him self-denial in order to discover the truth of existence. He abstained from all physical pleasures. He dressed simply, showered rarely, and ate hardly nothing. Siddhartha, however, awoke one day and recognised that despite having practised self denial for almost 5 years, he would not be able to discover the truth via it.
  • He departed the palace in the middle of the night, never to be seen again. He left his father, a wife, and a son.
  • Siddhartha's first step towards becoming a Buddha was to give up his comfortable and easy lifestyle.
  • Siddhartha cut off his hair and traded all his expensive clothes for a single robe.
  • Siddhartha chose to continue his search for the truth once his body had stabilised. This time, he opted to meditate for 49 days under a fig tree in the hopes of connecting with God.
  • Siddhartha eventually realised the cycle of life, death, and rebirth after a long search for the reality of life. He'd arrived at enlightenment.
  • Since Siddhartha had reached his enlightenment, he was now named Buddha.
  • Despite the fact that he had achieved a wonderful state of pure delight, Buddha opted to spend the rest of his life travelling across India, spreading his knowledge to others.
  • And even tho he is dead people still follow his beliefs and remember them in their preyers.
  • He educated people about the actual purpose of life and how to break free from the endless cycle of birth, death, and reincarnation until his death.
