Storyboard Text

  • One day, Sisyphus, King of Corinth, saw Asopus the river god who was looking for his daughter, Aegina. Sisyphus said he would tell him where his daughter was if he could get a spring for his kingdom. Asopus agreed and Sisyphus told Asopus that Zeus had her.
  • Zeus, to shield Aegina and himself from the river gods wrath, he turned himself into a rock and Aegina into an island
  • Zeus, furious at Sisyphus for meddling with his affairs, told Hades to take Sisyphus to the underworld and punish him. When
  • When it was time for Sisyphus to die he told his wife to only put a coin under his toungue and not to throw a feast.
  • Sisyphus arrived in the underworld as a poor beggar. He was sent back up to punish his wife. But then Sisyphus took advantage of this and cheated death a second time.
  • When it was finally time for Sisyphus to die, he did not think of anymore tricks so when he finally died the gods punished him by making him push a rock up a hill for eternity.
