- Yea it was fine. I mean I was good and I didn't really need a break.

- Hey how was your day? I know my day was exhausting and I wish I just had a break.

- Kate do you think we should have recess? Or at least an outside break?

- I don't think we should recess because we already have lunch breaks, we can talk to our friends when we switch classes, and we have free time to talk to friends in crew.
- I mean sure that is true but I think we should have recess because us teens need to have a break and get some fresh air, and some people might not have time to talk in the hallways. Lastly middle school should have recess because recess allows us to move our bodies in different ways.
- But I am always rushing because sometimes I can be late.
- I disagree because I always find time to walk with my friends to class and I always have time to chat down the hallways.
- Kids in middle school should be able to get a break outside like kicking or throwing a ball and socializing with your friends.
- But isn't that the same thing as lunch?
- Well if you put it this way, recess would be a way for us teens to get a different mindset and is a way for us to get exercise running around and playing games.
- OK I have never thought about it that way. That is a really good Idea. Like you said we should get some fresh air and we could stretch and move around our bodies. Also I just thought that what if some people don't sit by their friends they wouldn't get to see outside.
