- Hi I am Mike Bloom and I am here to tell you about elections and inaugurations
- This is a comic created for a school project and not intending for insult or shame. I am Caleb Shearrer and I approve this message
- Lets take a look at elections, so candidates campaign for about 2 years the winning candidate for their party goes to the general election. Now a good strategy you want to get is the most states on your side because if you want to get the most electoral votes in the end to be the last one in the race.
- On Election day, after all the speeches, the Americans get to vote for their next president, you can find ballots at schools, fire stations, or a church
- Voting for the leader of your country is a civil right and it is a responsibility for Christians to elect the president. Of course we will want a leader with God's wisdom.
- Did you know the electoral college is actually the party that determines who wins the presidential campaigns? Well they do, these are the people who might change a presidential campaign in seconds. But they are influenced by their states popular vote to make a right decision
- When the president is finally elected after the vote he/she will be sworn into office giving a promise to fulfill their duties as president and uphold the law. Otherwise known as being inaugurated.
- Now that you are a president you have some power like executive orders, this is a direct order given by the president to e.x the army. You will also be able to give pardons to people who are being punished for breaking the law. A pardon is releasing someone from their punishment.
