- In the supermarket, her 2-year old daughter, Lauren is having a loud, screaming temper tantrum because she won’t buy her some expensive cookies.
- No, Honey. That cookies are sweet and it can cause toothache.
- Mom, I want some cookies.
- But I want them so bad.
- No. I want them.
- Honey, you can choose any food that you want.For as long as they are considered to be healthy.
- Honey, Not all the time you can have want you want.
- Doc, what are the reasons why toddlers have temper tantrums?
- After the incident, the mother went to the nurse to seek some advice about what are the proper things to be done when tantrums will happen again.
- Often, children have temper tantrums because they think it is the best way to get what they want.

- The best way to handle them is to just let them, until they are done. You should not give any attention that they want because they will use it against you. However, see to it that while they are having their tantrums you can still see them.
