Proclamation of 1763- This drew an imaginary line across the Appalachian Mountains telling Colonists they couldn't create colonies along the west side of the mountains, the colonists ignored this.

The Sugar and Stamp Acts- These acts were taxes on sugar and many paper related things. These taxes have been in Britain for so long and now the King has decided to bring it to the colonies. The colonists were very angry and rebelled against these taxes.
The Boston Massacure
I hate you brits!
When the colonists started getting taxed on sugar and other various things, they were angry. So they pointed to the Magna Carta which says there shall be no taxation without representation, which means only elected officials could pass taxes, since the colonists had no representation in Parliment, Parliment couldn't tax them.
The Boston Tea Party
Yeah! Dump all of their tea!
The Townshend Acts- When the British started making a new tax, colonists started boycotting British made goods. This forced Parliment to take away every other tax except the one taxing tea.
The Boston Massacure- When the red coats saw a bunch of angry colonists protesting, they started getting riled up too. In the mist of this a British soldier ended up firing into the crowd causing a panic. 5 people were killed in this, including Crispus Attucks, a man who was considered to be the first person to die in the american revolution.
The Boston Tea Party- Angry colonists boarded ships in the Boston Harbor to protest after the massacure. They ended up throwing over 300 chests of tea into the ocean.
