- Welcome to channel 1 news, today we talk about gun violence a global issue. Let's take it to you Sally.
- How do you feel about gun violence?
- 40,000 people died in 2017 from gun use, we must fight for stricter laws.
- I think it is scary and sad because of all the deaths and the threat it opposes. Not just to me, I have children and worry.
- I 100% agree.
- Sir the US death rate has been at it's highest in 20 years. The last thing we want is more deaths.
- We make sure they don't get on in the first place, fighting fire with water
- What's your take on gun violence?
- So what do you do to protect your self from some bad dude with his own gun.
- Everyone should have guns, fight fire with fire it's simple.
- You're right we can't completely stop it, but if we can reduce it even a little, there will be fewer deaths per year
- Do you have any ideas for solving gun related problems?
- Can you go into more detail.
- Well for starters, it states in our own constitution that we can have guns. Even if we remove that, there's no guarantee everyone will be gun free yes it's scary but all we can do is hope it doesn't happen.
- Honestly, I believe it's unsolvable.
