- In a small, rural stretch of land, there stands a tall tower with a window and guards at it's door. It is separated from crowded streets and busy cities. Inside of the tower lives a lonely soul. She is the step- daughter of the queen of the neighboring kingdom. Her name is princess Cortolia. The queen's kingdom was the most miserable place ever. Everyone had to be the queen's workers, and if they didn't listen, they would be thrown in the dungeon.

- Princess Cortolia was okay with her life, but she wished she had some one else to be with her, some one who could sing her to sleep or play with her in the day. Unlike her step sisters Gordil and Forina, and her cruel step mother Gloridosa. Her only companions were Lucy, the cat and Doris, the dog with his mate Darley and their 3 puppies. She sometimes wished her step family would let her out so she could see the outside world.

- Back at the other kingdom, Gloridosa (left) and her daughters Gordil (middle) and Forina (right) were the most selfish and cruel. They claimed that they were the prettiest. They were also getting ready for the courting ceremony . A courting ceremony is when princes come to marry a princess or princesses from a kingdom. The princesses were getting ready for a specific prince. His name is prince Rondal. He is the best in everything.
- In a house near the princesses tower, lived her Aunt Helen, who felt bad for the princess. She decided that she will make the princess go to the ball. Helen grabbed her sister's old gown, slippers, and her magic wand. and left for the tower.
- Aunt Helen presented Princess Cortolia with the gown and the slippers. Then, she presented a crown for the crown princess. She also told Cortolia that her mother was queen Celor and that her step mother was trying to steal the throne for her own greedy purposes. Aunt Helen also told Cortolia that she must claim the throne in order to save the people. Then they were off to the ball.
- Princess Cortolia, I mean Crown Princess Cortolia, Claimed the throne. Then she and prince Rondal married and lived happily ever after. Mean while, you may be wondering what happened to the step family, so let me tell you, They got a job in the stables as a cleaner.
